For as long as I can remember, I have been a fan of cinema. The first movie I ever watched was Disney’s The Jungle Book and from there, I fell in love. While Disney had a huge impact on my childhood, as I grew up and had the opportunity to discover various genres, my tastes changed and I learned that there was so much else out there. I loved the feeling of being swept away by a story, if only for a couple of hours. Immersing myself into a new world helped me deal with things in my personal life and gave new perspectives whenever I needed.
Some may be shocked to hear this, but I’m actually very shy. It’s only when I start to open up that those who know me best can’t get me to shut up. I’ve always felt more at ease putting my thoughts down onto a piece of paper – a safe space with no judgement where I can be myself one hundred percent.
And so I decided to combine my love for writing and cinema by starting Credits Rolling. Having my own blog is something I have always wanted to do, but sharing my words with the world seemed so daunting. Thanks to my supportive husband, I decided to take the plunge and I never looked back!
