2024 Wrap Up

How do I even begin to sum up 2024?

On a personal note, this year was extremely hard for me. I went through a lot of things mentally and physically and at times it got in the way of my review writing. That being said, I would always find my way back to cinema; films have a way of transporting us away or to inspire us when we need it the most. When times got tough, I knew I could come back and lose myself in an incredible story and then to share my thoughts with all of you.

There have been some outstanding films this year. Incidentally my top five all came out towards the end of the year. There were also some that I wish I could forget.

Without further ado, here are my top five best and worst films of 2024. I look forward to seeing what 2025 will bring!

Best:

  5. Inside Out 2

Worst:

  1. Joker: Folie À Deux
  2. Jackpot!

2023 Wrap Up

2023 has been an incredible year for cinema.

I feel like this was the year that found us return to cinema in full force. Some could say that was all thanks to Barbenheimer. The way in which literally everyone from all over the world took part in this monumental occasion by dressing up and doing double features for each film – I don’t think we will ever have anything like it again.

2023 was also the year that saw me reach one thousand followers on Instagram. What a highlight that was! And though I’ve been stuck at the same number now for the past few months, I absolutely love writing these reviews. Credits Rolling has been a safe haven for me and I would be lost without it.

As I look back on this year, here are my top five best and worst films:

Best:

  1. Barbie

  5. Banshees of Inisherin

Worst:

  1. The Outlaws

  3. Heart of Stone

2022 Wrap Up

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I feel like the years go by faster as I get older.

2022 was another great year of movies. With some memorable visits to the theatre where my auditorium cheered during a viewing on opening day of Top Gun: Maverick to seeing Triangle of Sadness in Cannes, steps away from where the famous film festival takes place, this year will go down in the history books for me.

Moving back to Europe did change the way in which I ran this blog. Usually due to where I was at a certain point in time or the fact that certain films were released on different days was something I needed to adjust to. At least I was always able to fall back on my streaming platforms! All that being said, I look forward to what 2023 will have in store.
